MasterCAM and RAID

Has anyone had problems with MasterCAM and software raid? I have two different computers running software raid mirroring, both are brand new. One has AMD onboard raid and the other is intel. Both run great up until the point you install MasterCAM, after which it degrades the raid and sends it into a endless rebuild / fail cycle.
