Just wanted to get some feedback on whether you all think a massively multiplayer version of asteroids (complete with enemy ships) in combination with asteroids (can land on different planets/make money/upgrade weapons) would be a worthy project in flash.
Essentially the "story" of the game would be two solar systems at war, with enemies and events that are randomly generated (such as attacks on certain planets, etc.). The goal is to discover new/capture enemy planets, until everybody gets to the enemy base planet, upon which the final battle will determine how the story ends.
Am I wasting my time? I think it would be cool.
