Hi,

I use my old stereo speakers with an amp for my sound at the moment. Ive just gotten a 2001FP so I am wanting to move the speakers off the floor and onto the desk.

Didn't before due to monitor interference. Now am I likely to enc outer any similar problems via LCD (I'm pretty sure I wont).

But most importantly, as the speakers are not shielded, what effects will / might they have on my hard drives in the PC case. Its a Koolance big steal case.

If theres a risk of corruption, ids there a way to shield my drives / speakers?

the case will act as a faraday cage, and the HDDs themselves are pretty immune anyway, its the cables from the HDD to the mobo that can have issues

but since thay are in the case, you shouldnt have any issues
regarding the LCD, like any cable there can be issues
just keep in mind that EMFields obey the Inverse Square Law

high qualityLCD cables are probably available with extra sheilding if needed
