Mac for RoR development

So i'm trying to find a decent mac on the cheap that can handle RoR development. Any recommendations? Not Interested in the Mac Pro/iMac/Mac Mini. More interested in a laptop with a SSD, and it seems the MBA are the cheapest options. I don't know? What should I do?

IMO you shouldn't buy any Mac with a SSD until they implement TRIM support, however if you really have your heart set on one the White Polycarb Macbook with its base specs and then buying and installing your own SSD (will not break your warranty) is a much better option to the MBA.

Personally if I were looking for a RoR dev machine I would get a refurbed White MB for $850

You end up with a much more powerful machine then the MBA for almost $100 less.
