Hey guys, I havn't touched my loop in a while but am doing a massive upgrade. I am going to build it in a new Cosmos 1000 and need some help on my loop configuration
the 280 rad is from my previous CPU loop, since upgrading, I decided to water cool my GPU and have a new 120 xspc rad instead of having to buy a new 360 rad
Shortest/cleanest route is res - pump - gpu - cpu - 280 - 120 - res. Of course it'd be better to go with a single rad up top. A 360 or 420 (if you can make it fit) would cut down on tubing and look a lot better. Rads are cheap, just sell your 280 and grab a 360.
I am actually thinking about adding another 7970 to the loop. If I get a 360 rad, and use my 280 rad, will my pump still be able to do a good job? I have the DD CPX-Pro
I Just got a 2nd 7970 to CF but unsure of the bridge I need to get. Will this one work since I have using 2 Heatkiller GPU-X3? The description says the Link can be easily switched from parallel to serial operation. The necessary serial plug is not included.
So does this mean the bridge is parallel since the serial plug isn't included?
Since I got a 2nd 7970, I got an 360 RAD so I will only be using the 360+280 rad.
How should my loop change now?
