Logitech G502

I just got a Logitech G502. I've only used it for about 20 minutes, but I really like it so far.

Does anyone else have oney et? What's the silver magnet in the packing materials for? It's much too large for the weight cover, and the weight cover already has a magnet affixed to it, anyway. It isn't mentioned in the instructions.

Eh? its to keep the door (of the box) closed when the box is on display.
Look at the materials on the front door of the package (that moves out to reveal the "main box". you'll see that that the door attaches to the silver round magnet in the plastic.

Gee.. there's another topic about the same mouse two lines down.
The round silver magnet is to hold the front flap of the packaging box.

Oh, indeed it is. I guess I just assumed that would be far too expensive for a cosmetic application.
