Are you using Logitech's software/drivers? If so, maybe reinstalling them will help. I've never come across a problem like this so that's first thing I could think of that you could try.
Its for a customer tomorrow, just have never heard of this happening before, so wanted to get some ideas before I get there and have to scratch my head for awhile.
