So, my GF brought me one of her friends laptop to fix.
It seems that whenever it connects to a wireless network, it will not connect to the internet. So, I tried connecting it to my wireless at home, and it identifies the network, but says "Local Only". I try to ping google, and it pings fine, then the icon changes to Internet access for a few seconds, then goes away.
I thought maybe the laptop didn't like having a security key, so I opened the network, and connected again, but still the same results. I have browsed the internet, but I cannot find a solution, and was hoping someone might be able to assist with this.
