Linux Backup Tool doesn't seem to work very well :(

I attempted to backup my daily driver to a Windows Server and the transfer rate was worse than abysmal. It literally took 3 minutes to copy one song. I then aborted and did a regular copy of the backup and it proceeded normally, speed was quite good. Is this the nature of the beast or did I do something wrong? I didn't get any error messages.

The name is Backup Tool. It's the first program under "Administration". Linux Mint.

Try "Timeshift". Works really well.

Timeshift is basically a really easy to use gui for rsync and btrfs snapshots and chron and other stuffs.
