We recently had two laptops returned to our stores were the people put HDD passwords on them though the BIOS. It has been a long time since I dealt with this issue, and is there anyway to blow these HDs out to be used again? I already just replaced the drives to get the computers done, but if I can save these to use in other things I would like to, otherwise I will just toss them.
I seem to remember older dells you could still use the drives it would just wipe them, with these though I can't get anything to use them or wipe them.
I keep finding sites that want to charge you to do it, I am not up for paying $50 to save a $50 dollar drive.
