Laptop Advice (Gaming and Photo-editing in Lightroom)

I am looking for a Laptop.

Use: Gaming and Photo-editing in Lightroom (not professional photographer but like somewhat accurate colors).

Size: 14-15.6 inch

Budget: Upto $1600

What are some of my best options?

If by "serious", you mean competitive gaming, then no. Casual gaming but pretty much all categories....RTS, FPS, RPG etc.

I have a high end desktop. I want a laptop as well for portability when I am traveling.

I got myself the HP Pavilion 14-n236tx and I'm pretty happy with it. I believe it was 1600 AUD at the time, but looking at some laptop deals around here, seems like the price has dropped to 1200.

Anyway here are the specs:

Intel i7 Processor
16GB Memory
2GB Dedicated Graphics
750GB HDD

I've been playing Saints Row III on it without any problems whatsoever.
