Hi everyone, i am in a tight spot here, i got about $110 and i need to know what will make my system go faster the most. I dont need a new video card cuz i got this deal comin threw but anyway i dont know what will make my system go faster, so here is what i am thinking of doing, either a new hard drive (serial ata seems to be speedy) or more ram or new chip (to bump up to 333)

anyway here are the things i am thinking of getting, which of them will make it go faster

10'000 rpm serial ata hard drive

here is my current system:

2000+ AMD on slk-800
MSI Nforce2 IGP
512 RAM pc2700
100gb Western digital 8mb cache special edition
15gb 5400rpm
72x tru-x drive :-D
12/10/32 Plextor
Radeon 9600se (dont hate, i am getting a new one)

Save your money until something is worth upgrading, plus you'll have more money to get something nicer later.

2500+ would be nice, unless you are running your OS on that 5400rpm drive. If that is the case then move it to the 7200rpm 8mb cache drive or get a Raptor to put it on.

lol run an os on a 5400 haha

nah its on my 7200rpm, i actualy got alot of scsi drives layin around so i may use them in my pc, they aint shit for space but they are speedy in raid 0. i got 3 4.3 gig 7200rpm and 4 2.2gig 5400rpm drives which would run nice in a raid0 correct?
