I just bought the HA-RX700 headphones due to the rave reviews since my Icemat Siberias is starting to fail after 5years. I love how they sound right out of the box, definitely better than my icemats. I'm in the process of burning them in for a few days to see the difference before I dive into other mods like the PopTop mod.
I was wondering if anyone here has replace the stock pleather cushions with something like the Sennheiser's HD555 cloth cushions or the Beyer Dynamic DT 770 PRO's cushions? The HA-RX900 wouldn't be too bad either but I can't seem to find replacement parts for them on the JVC website. If anyone has other options for replacing the cushions with something better I'm all ears.
