Hey,

I've done some googling and I'm a little confused as to how I'd upgrade from ISA 2000 standard to ISA 2004 enterprise.

Here is the situation:
Server A: current ISA 2000 standard
Server B: new ISA 2004 enterprise

Server B will be built soon. How do I import or migrate all the settings from Server A to Server B.

From the reading I've done, it looks like this can't be done? It says that if I want to migrate the settings, I'd need another server (Server C) to run some kinds of ISA configuration storage component. What is that?

Also a concern I have is that Server B's IP will be changed to Server A's IP eventually. What kind of problems will I encounter with an IP change to the configs then a change again when the old server goes down.

Thanks,
Robert

I've not moved from standard to enterprise, just 2K to 2K4...and that's using the export/import function. You can export some/or/all of the config to an XML file..then import to your new server, consider it "cloning".

Have you read that ST to ENT won't support this?

Have you hit up www.isaserver.org?
