Is this DVD burner good? Need answer fast!

This might be a better option for you:

Lite-On LDW-411S

It's not quite as cheap, but the specs are a bit better. And, it's still in the realm of bargain brands, but I think Lite-On has a better reputation than I/O.
 
o sweet thanks, lighton is the most trusted too, have had 2 burners and 1 dvd-rom, but i thought they would be to expensive. Thanks again!
 
sorry for another double post but i just noticed that the LiteOn has 2MB buffer and the BenQ has 8MB buffer. Would the 8 be better or is it just for looks?
 
As long as the drive has some sort of buffer underrun protection, the larger cache doesn't make a difference at all. Even my Plextor only has 2 megs.
