Is this a good portable? HP Turion TL-50, 1gb, 14.1w

Is this HP a good deal? I am wanting something thin, lightweight and portable. I have my main PC in my sig for gaming, so this laptop would just be for on the go and maybe some old school games (Doom, DukeNukem, etc.. ). This seems to be a decent price. I have seen this in the store and I love the quality of the laptop. Would a HP with C2D be worlds better? j/w

I owned that laptop, it is a great product

battery lasted 2 hours and it was fast when it came to loading stuff

you will not dissapointed

only thing I sold it because I am more into 17 inch laptops

it comes with Media Center
and if you use Firefox to browse the internet you will have issues watching or hearing videos/sound clips within the browser

thats a OS problem (microsofts fault)

Aztlan - Thanks for the info. I may just wait until Vista gets released so I don't have to fiddle with those upgrade disks. Also, I was wanting a little more than 2hrs. I might also go with the Intel Core 2 Duo with 2gb of ram. I want something that is portable and extremely fast (well at least as fast as my current desktop, lol) Thanks for the heads up though.
