is there a version of Simcity 4 that DOESN'T SUCK?! >:o

on Every pc I try Sim City 4 on, it resets the pc! I thought it was a dual core issue, but the other pc was a 2500+... is this a service pack 2 or direct x 9 issue?

Sim City 4 without the rush hour expansion crashes and resets my windows box, but sim city 4 with the rush hour expansion runs flawlessly on my Powermac G5 1.8

surprising, since that POS 1.8 single crashes while trying to load nearly every other game i attempt to play.

not trying to start a flame war, just answering the question.

Get Rush Hour expansion and it shouldn't crash your PC anymore. Mine still crashes to desktop sometimes but that has more to do with almost 2gigs of plugin BAT's and LOT's installed.

i have SP2 and DX9 and it crashes. i installed the patches and everything and it still crashed.

so i gave up.
