Is Alan Wake ever going to actually get released?

I keep hearing how Alan Wake is just around the corner and is going to be released this year - but then again I've heard that for the last two years. I look today on Wikipedia and it states that now it has been pushed back to fall of 2010. What the hell is up with that?? Anyone have any idea if and when this is ever going to get released?

Oh yeah,Ive heard of this game..It was one of the reasons I opted for my Q6600 about a year or so ago since AW was going to be the 1st game to utilize QC..

PS..Ive seen recent footage of it and it definitely got 360ied..ie..Shitty low rez textures and such..Looks nothing like the earlier footage..Im sure MS is holding this one for the 360 once GOW2 dies down..
