Whose installed the public beta so far? Kicking around the idea of jumping in early on the public betas this go-around.
I'm still using iOS 10.3.3. I still don't know if I will jump to iOS 12. I did update my iPad Air 2 to the newest iOS 11 and it killed my battery life. I still like Apple but don't trust them anymore.

Meanwhile I am seriously considering getting rid of my 27" iMac because it won't have support for the next version of MacOS.
With the exception of my daughters 1st gen iPad Mini, I've always avoided using any Apple device that falls off of official support.
Ok. So you Apple folks are just chomping at the bit to try a bug-infested BETA now, just to see what little things will be taken away, and what little things will be added. Cool.
$400 to $1000 for an iPhone. And you people want to allow Apple to force you to be a BETA tester. Got it.
Every release of IoS is essentially BETA, as well.
Sometimes maybe Apple should be paying you stalwarts a bit, just out of guilt.

Hey, folks. Whatever you want to do or buy is fine with me. I might not understand the motivation, but I don't have to, and it's none of my business.
I didn't mean to sound judgmental about your bizarre phone decisions.
Proud user of a $50 Moto E4, powered by Android, works perfectly for what I want a phone to do. Even porn looks good on it.
You know that is almost always 'stuff get's turned back on' right?
Every time there is an iOS update (a big one 9->10, 10-11, not the 11.2->11.3) Apple does this annoying thing of "TURNING ALL THE THINGS BACK ON".
my iPhoneSE dropped like a rock for 2 days after updating to 11. Then I went in and turned a ton of features off (almost all of which I'd already turned off b/c they annoy me before the update)
and Viola, my battery life returned to the land of the living.
I like bleeding edge software.
And considering I'm still on an iPhone 6, I think I'm getting my moneys worth out of my $800 investment from 2014. My intention was to run the phone until it wasn't getting any more iOS updates, and it looks like that might just happen. I am looking to replace my battery for the second time however.
I still use my iPhone 8GB from 2007 in some capacity, so I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about.
So far these betas have been very stable for me. They honestly don't feel any less stable than iOS 11. The speed increase and quality of life improvements are phenomenal.
I thought that was in 11.4? I don’t have CarPlay in any of my Fords so I can’t test it but my brother who does not run iOS 12 mentioned he’s using Waze through CarPlay already.
That was a Ford change outside of CarPlay, Ford made use of their own AppLink platform to allow Waze to function on Ford vehicles with Sync 3 3.0. I have it, but it's pretty laggy. You have to disable CarPlay for it to work as well. The actual CarPlay integration, which I am hoping will run smoother, is slated for iOS 12 according to Apple's release, at least I don't see it in my F-150 with Sync 3 3.0 and iOS 11.4.1, unless I disable CarPlay as mentioned above.
From an article on iOS 12:
"Headlining the announcements, Apple announced support for third-party map applications in CarPlay. The company says that Waze and Google Maps will be supported on CarPlay with iOS 12."
So yeah, I have a semi-decent way to use Waze now, but hate having to disable CarPlay to do it.

I've had good luck with it... The one mail issue that would creep its head here and there seems to have been resolved now, its seems a bit more responsive (using X and 3rd gen tablet).
