IDE devices showing up as SCSI in Device Manager

Picture says it all - what could be doing this? My hunch is that it is Alcohol 120%, which I installed recently. However, since my drives don't seem to be suffering any performance hits, I am not going to uninstall the program.

Has anyone else experienced this?
The IDE controller is the Nvidia IDE controller based in the southbridge of the Nforce2 chipset. The drivers are new and I believe the motherboard (Abit NF7-Sv2) bios is the most recent.

ATAPI is a quasi SCSI interface

my opticals show the same and Im not using Alcohol
IDE RAID also employs SCSI drivers

And add-in IDE cards (even non-RAID) do as well.
