1. How to upgrade BIOS:

a. Boot into MS-DOS or "Safe mode and command prompt" if you are using
Windows95/98
b. Run "ic725.exe" to extract all files.
c. Run "runme.bat"

*** Please notice that we suggest you flashing the bios with switches

"/py /sn /cd /cp /cc /cks /R" or by "runme.bat".

2.After BIOS updated, pull off the power cord and then clear the CMOS data

temps are still all fucked up, fucking abit always claims the next bios revision will fix the temp problems. JUST ADMIT YOU CANT FIX IT FUCKERS

I flashed 2.5.
No noticable performance changes either way.
Sandra, 3dmark benches the same.
Gaming[ Painkiller, Max Payne2 etc.] performance the same.
Over at Abit mobo forum cpu microcode update is speculated to mean support for the newer P4 Celerons.
I've got no problems with 2.5
It's not a beta, just takes awhile for those nitwits to get around to posting it on the "regular" downloads page.
It took a month for the autoflash utility to recognize 2.4 as a legit bios!
Temps are still fucked up but I'm up to date!
