These sell used on the forums fors around 2x this price. Doubt these lasted long.

What sucks is C2Q processors are still going for $250+. Even $100 is expensive for anything older than a 1366 chip/ chips made before 2008.
 
Microcenters inventory system is often messed up. I would not make a trip to a MC but if you are going anyway ask around.
 
Gotta say this is a great deal! I use to run one of these (gave it for my g/f for her gaming pc). Got it clocked to 4.4ghz......

Even though its not Sandy or Ivy Bridge this proc still holds a punch, and it has HT if you need it.

For $108....not even the top AMD proc can beat this one at stock settings.
 
This cpu won't beat anything because it's not available at any store in the chain. Not sure how the op even found the listing.
