ok i'm building a new rig for myself, 400 bucks is the limit, and i hwant to use this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813127027 with 2 gigs of ram and an AMD athlon x2 4000+ with a black q-pack case, some 100 gig hd and some dvd burner. Will this motherboard/cpu combo be ok? not planning on overclocking. just want somethin with decent integrated graphics that will work fine, might wanna play counter strike 1.6 on it at some point, source too, and i'm running an intel rig and i was able to run 1.6 on it's crappy integrated graphics (extreme2) so it should work well on that motherboard's graphics. the CPU should be fast enough for my basic use, some multimedia too. i already have a tv tuner to put in it when i build this,

is this CPU and motherboard a good choice, or are they cheaper/better combos i can go with to fit my needs? as far as gaming, occasional CS 1.6, and alittle source. nothin too powerful is needed.

BTW this will be my second rig ever built in history, and my first SFF ever.

yes that is a great combo and it will play cs 1.6 and source. once you get it running hit me up on xfire, fallen01tau
so we can play

you can free up another $15 by going with a Biostar T-Force... it only loses to the Abit on maximum RAM supported (4GB total vs 8GB)

newegg has combos with the T-Force so you could get an x2 4200+ (Windsor) for about $7 less or an x2 4400+ (Brisbane) for $3 more than the Abit / x2 4000+. You can get the geforce 7050v T-Force with an x2 4200 for about the same price as well, and the 7050v supports 8GB RAM like the Abit.
