i cant update my vista sp1 system with sp2?

is anybody having similar experience? i cant install sp2 on my vista sp1? whats wrong?
 
Not sure, you havent said how it fails.
Not a lot of point making a thread if you dont explain the issue.
 
SP2 isn't released yet as final code, so that could explain your issue. Are you certain you want to be installing beta/RC code on your computer?

I agree with Nenu though. You have been as vague as possible, so if you had more info, we can make some better guesses.
 
If you feel like risking your OS with a beta SP...well..
Check the WindowsUpdate.log file in C:\Windows.

what about this: has anyone try to install sp2 and it fail so???
