HP 27xi $269 f/s at Amazon

Amazon has the HP 27xi for $269. I know it is only 1080p so no need to complain. Has any one seen this screen compared to the Planar px2710mw? I had that screen for a while and it's a good screen. I'm wondering if this one is at least that good or better. I don't use my monitors for professional imagery, I watch movies, web and game. Thanks for any insight.

hmm IPS + LED I'm jealous

I have the HP 2711 model - and it's "okay" but viewing angle is a bit tight. Wish I could offer a comparison but this one looks to be much better quality.

im in the market for a new display since my l2335s power board ate it recently. this looks promising, price-wise. i wonder wat type of IPS panel it has, and if this has VESA mounts. im gonna look that up.

anybody know input lag figures?

nevermind, found it. its an eIPS panel, & theres no vesa mount

I would rather get a 24in screen at that resolution. I got my asus (in my sig) for about that price and its a 1920x1200 which I prefer and also an LED IPS.

I have it. Loving it. Colors are nice and look natural. The design is plastic but beautiful. Got the same deal.
