How to upgrade?

My system is 2-3 years old: P4-2.2GHz, Asus P4T-E, 1GB RDRAM, Asus V8200 video card... Still working fine but I am thinking to upgrade the system.

What should I do to upgrade? To gain any performance increase, looks like I have to replace motherboard, CPU and memory at the same time. Any suggestions?
 
That;s what I thought. I was thinking to get a ATI 9600-Pro.

How about MB, CPU, memory? I probably have to change all 3, right?
