Typical newbie question that I really need answered.
I have a home network with a Win2k3 file server on it. I recently loaded SuSE v9.1 Personal on a spare box I have. The OS is pretty cool, being a newb and all. When I browse my windows network, I can see my server and xp clients. However, when I try to open a share on the server it prompts for a username and password. My windows account does not work, I get an error.
I understand that I need to use samba to mount these shares. HELP! I am a newb to linux so any direction is appreciated.
