How to force video output resolution

I just picked up an ASUS N10J series netbook/notebook. Anyways when hooking it up to my TV via HDMI it wont give me the option of running it at 1366X768 which is my TV's native resolution. When I hook up my desktop via hdmi to the TV I have no problem running it at this, well it runs at 1360X768 which is basically the same thing.

So currently I can only get it to do 1280x720p and the display is then all out of whack and doesn't look crisp.

Any suggestions?

I know there are newer pieces of software that do the same thing, but I can't find them right now.
