Hello all,
I've created a zfs pool and filesystem in Ubuntu Server 16. I created a username and password in Ubuntu for access to it and I'm trying to use that to access the filesystem from Windows 10. I can see the filesystem, but I have no permissions there. I had configured the share in the samba config file and I gave it read/write access, but that doesn't seem to have any effect. I've googled the heck out of this and it appears that I need to somehow change permissions directly on the zfs pool. Does anyone have any tips for this or is there a better way of doing this start to finish? I'm a linux supernoob.
