How far can I push my trusty B3 Q6600?

Been wanting to mess around with my good old Q6600 (B3). I noticed that it handles low Vcore well. I just did a Prime95 Large FFT run, and you can see how low the Vcore dip to (Bios setting is at 1.275, talk about Vdroop). Been running it like that for almost 3 years now, no issues whatsoever.

Anyway my question is, how those temps are looking? When should I decide it's 'high' enough? And what generally is the B3 average OC?

If not already, you should invest in a decent cooler. I'm running a Hyper212+ on my G0 and it's not bad at all for the price.

Then you should try to crank it up. Maybe 3.0GHz is a good place to start.

Already using the Hyper 212 (not plus).

I have just tried 3.0 GHz (334x9) while upping the Vcore to 1.31, also bumped MCH and RAM by +0.01V, Prime threw an error within 5 mins...Gonna have to tinker a bit more with it I guess.
