how do u see FPS in these games???

i know for battlefield2 u bring down the console and type renderer.drawfps 1

is there ne way to get the fps on those games with out using fraps??

I would say thats near false, I probally can venture a guess tha 99.9% percent of games have built in FPS counters. Devs need to monitor performance and fps, they would rather not rely on 3rd party counters.

Some devs go out of their way to disable access to their dev tools. (Cough EA)
