hey all,

i've downloaded a few "speed runs"... people beating old school NES games in record time...

some of them come as mpegs, but a few are FMV files... they're "recordings" of the buttons being pushed while the game is played, that you can then feed into an emulator and it'll play the game out...(the files are really small...)

i've tried to load them in a bunch of different emulators, and i know i'm just being retarded... can someone help? is there one in particular that plays back FMV files?

the site i mentioned:
http://nes.greatstreamingvideo.com/

Opened one of those files in a hex editor and saw this string:

Family Emulator "Famtasia" Ver5.1

Seems alot of info on this emulator is in japanese, and I couldnt find a definate homepage. (site listed in the readme is dead) But you should try the main release (5.10) and an updated executable (5.11). No idea if this is latest verson or not. The guy also has a bunch of other emulators in the directory so maybe you can find something else to try if this doesn't work.
