This is just unfounded bias, but i tend to stay away from the *max-es (minus enermax)

powmax, raidmax, coolmax etc. I've had 2 powmaxses die on me and 1 raidmax. These were the lower end come-with-the-case models though, and i hear good things about raidmaxes upper-end series.

(again, just unfounded bias). I stick with the Antec/Enermax/Fortron/Sparkle series. I'd go with the PCP&C but i've never been disappointed with my Antec true series'

Doing a search on newegg with your search criteria alone (50-60) doesn't give me anything that'd really catch my eye, but i'm not going to be someone who claims to be a power supply expert. I personally would recommend thinking about investing another 10 dollars and nabbing the Sparkle 530 watt (equivalent to the fortron 530w), which is a great PSU

Does anyone have any facts instead of opinions?

its has very rudimentary specs

and they are prone to exaggeration
"Built in EMI filter, low ripple noise"
the +3.3V, +5V at 100mV and the +12V at 150mV

all of which are out of spec
ATX12V v1.3 and ATX12V v2.0 Noise Ripple Tolerance
+3.3VDC = 50mV
+5VDC = 50mV
+12V1DC = 120mV
+12V2DC = 120mV (ATX12V v2.0 only)
+5VSB = 50mV

for comparison > Ten ATX Power Supplies Compared
Supply.............................+3.3V..........+5V..........+12V..........+5SB
Antec True Control 550.......10mV..........10mV........25mV.........20mV
Enermax Whisper 431........40mV..........20mV........50mV.........20mV
Zalman Noiseless 400........10mV..........20mV........35mV.........20mV
PCP&C Silencer 400..........10mV..........20mV........30mV.........10mV
PCP&C Turbo Cool 510......10mV..........10mV........10mV.........20mV

but I havent seen any "real" reviews of the Coolmax
