Higher fsb vs. tight memory timings

What is the general opinion on memory timings in an AMD system.
I am running 2.5-3-3-6 at 223fsb and I know I could push this higher if
I dropped the timings. Is it worth it? Will my gain be usable or will I lose just
as much as I would gain? rig is in sig. Thanks in advance.

Depends on how much higher you can get and what your chipset likes etc.... Test at higher and test at lower. Benchmarks are a wonderful thing

3 3 3 @ 250 is > 2 2 2 @ 200. How much higher though?

I would say roughly 3 3 3 @ 235-240 = 2 2 2 @ 200.

hmm 250fsb, would be hard to push this chip that much. Ive looked around and average max oc is 2.6ghz. Thanks for replies!

You can reduce the chips multiplier.
