Hercules Fortissimo III 7.1 Driver Woes

Hello everyone:
(sorry for the cross-post in advance, but someone told me to post it here too)

System Specs:
Shuttle XPC SB61G2
P4 2.8c
1024mb PC3200
Radeon 9800 Pro
Optorite DVD+/-RW
Fortissimo III 7.1 sound

Im having a problem with my sound card drivers. When i install them, the driver installs just fine, but unlike what the manual says, it never detects the card like it says it should. Has anyone encountered this problem and fixed it?


EDIT: I have gotten this card to work before. I took my machine to a LAN party on friday night....When i booted it up it just like uninstalled itself and now it wont install
