I have a bunch of Toshiba 256GB PCIe NVMe 2230 SSD (KBG40ZNS256G) that I would like to use in some older laptops connected via standard SATA interface. I'm having difficulty finding the correct adapter and a clamshell to house the adapter and the Toshiba SSD. The Toshiba is a M-KEY M.2 NVMe device.

Unfortunately, as a straight-M keyed drive you can only do PCIe. If you had an M+B you could do either, but your only option if you don't have a PCIe m.2 is go external USB3/USB4.
