Feel free to flame me! I am probably being really stupid here but I am building my first computer.... I finally got all of my stuff in from newegg yesterday and I started building today. I have two SATA hard drives that I want to put in raid 0, but my power supply only has one sata connecter thing. Is this a problem? Or am I just stupid?

thanks.

Yes there's a problem - you'll only be able to power one drive! You can buy an adapter that converts molex to SATA for $3.00.

Welcome Tikiman only boneheads flame!
List your specs, My two rapters have ether sata from ps connector or the standard molex.
You might get lucky ;)

Power Supply : Thermaltake Silent Purepower 480W
Hard Drives : 2 Western Digital 80GB Serial ATA | WD800JD
Motherboard : ASUS K8T800

:)

I tried the WD sight and it looks like there is a 4 prong(molex) power connector. Not sure but just look at the back
----------------------------------------------------------
sata power / mb cable / jumpers / 0000 PS
-----------------------------------------------------------
The last slot should have 4 pins, check the install manual

LoL, I feel stupid now. I didn't really think about it, and didn't know you could plug in the molex connector and it was the same as the serial connector. Thanks everyone!

P.S. Thanks Th3Krawl3r I would have done that if you wouldn't have warned me.

WHOA didn't even thought of dat
Sorry
Hey Th3KrawL3R thats team work :D
