I have been looking into getting a laptop, something ultraportable with a decent amount of power under the hood.
I am looking to spend between 800 - 1000 dollars here.
I have been looking into the Averatec series of notebooks, specifically the 4155 which comes with a Turion MT-30, 512 DDR PC3200, 80gb HD, DVD burner and wifi built in. After much research into the product I have decided not to go with the Averatec brand because of poor customer service and poor product durability.
I would like any suggestions as to any alternative laptops I could look into. Gaming is not a big deal as I will be building myself another desktop gaming machine in the future. I have found so many laptops that would fit the criteria I have mentioned above but since I have no first hand experience with any of them I came here hoping to get some good recommendations.
Please no flaming, just facts and experiences. Thank you!
