Seems like an ok deal if you want a cheap S-IPS 26" monitor. You do have to deal with NewEgg monitor return policy though.
 
Ya pretty hot deal. Same LG panel as the NEC 2690. If wide gamut IPS is your thing, I don't think you can beat that price.
 
Warm, at best. With all its flaws, it's not worth saving the $70 versus the HP 2475.

You have a point -- the DS-265w only occasionally has the A-TW polarizer, the vast majority of which do not :( Still a decent price if you want to game in S-IPS for around $500 IMO with a good sized screen.
