Grandia II HD coming to PC

I seem to remember this having a great soundtrack.

At one point or another I've owned every version of Grandia II. Dreamcast version was definitely the best. I can't wait to see if this new PC version is good. Day 1 purchase for me as well if it's good. I really hope this leads to more Game Arts titles releasing on the PC. I'd love to see Grandia 1 and 3 as well as both Lunar games.

The article says this is going to be based on the DC version of the game, so that's a good start. Let's hope it sells well, so we're more likely to see more of their stuff in the future.

Dreamcast version was awesome. I remember staying up till 3:00AM in college just to finish it. Sheesh - memories!

Doesn't look all that different to the original version of Grandia 2 released on PC back in 2002.

I cant really see the screens, as my work filter blocks anything related to 'games'.

But a lot of 'PC developers' are releasing old games with .ini lines added to allow modern widescreen resolutions and calling them "SUPER ULTRA HD REMASTER"... is this looking to be the same.

It's hard to tell, but I don't think so. The old PC port has a lot of issues with modern OSes that it might be easier for them just to redo it. It was yet another sloppy Ubisoft job, just like DMC3 and the original RE4 port.

Look at you SEGA, I like the way this is going.
So about that Shenmue 1&2 HD release....

i wouldnt mind this. I had the PC version back in the day, got pretty far and then...lost my save and never went back.
