Got a good one, video switching TV/PJ

Ok here is the situation: friend has PJ & TV setup, computer only goes to the PJ, but he would like to have the DVD player and PS2 go to both TV & projector.

So AFAIK, it would be a 2 in 2 out situation.

PS2 -> reciever -> video switch --> TV or PJ
DVD -> reciever -> video switch -> TV or PJ

He'd said no to a high dollar reciever with 2 zones (my initial thoughts), but is understanding this won't be a cheapy.

Also what about IR extenders since most of these components will be behind the screen when the PJ is in use.

Any ideas?
