Google Says News Site Disruption is Fixed

If you were one of the people that were having problems accessing Google news today, you can relax now, the company has fixed the problem. If you didn’t notice the outage...well, I guess you can just move along, there’s nothing to see here.

The Internet search giant said in a statement it had resolved the problem, which lasted from 12:25 p.m. Pacific Time on Tuesday until 2:20 p.m. Google did not say what caused the outage or how widespread it was, but noted that "many users" experienced difficulty accessing the site.
