I like the speakers, had them repaired twice even, which totals the cost up over $600 over the years for them, so I'd like to keep using them, but I'm extremely happy with my CPU/MB/VC setup, and still not quite sure about running them off of the z68-GD80 built-on sound card...
I don't want to break the bank i.e. spend more than $200, but I do want to get something that will use these speakers correctly and so I can enjoy the music and games I do play...
In the past, I have sprung the extra for the top of the line Creative cards, which back then WERE the best, but it has been a while, and I suspect others are competitive, at the least.
With that $ in mind, I am forced to ask for help in deciding. I have seen ASUS, Auzentech, etc. reviewed, and I admit that I don't know enough to know which would be best for this somewhat archaic setup.
