Gigabyte Z97X SOC Force kicking Ass

Impressive! Considering (If I've read the exchanges between you and Sin0822 at Overclock.net correctly) that the VRM for the Z97X boards is less impressive (not by much) than the one for the Z87X boards.

For arround $200 it is head and shoulders above any other mother board builder's Z97 offerings in terms of VRM quality and voltage and frequency controls for over clocking.

The only other Z97 mother board that will outclass its vrm design quality will probably be the
MSI Z97 XPOWER AC which will probably use IR 3550 ICs on the VRM phases. IR 3550 IC is the very best IC. MSI Z97 XPower AC is available for pre-order at newegg for $399.

The Z97 SOC FORCE uses the same IR 3553 IC rated for 40 amps that was used on the Z87 OC(non force version). The Z87 OC FORCE used IR 3550 ICs but costed nearly $500 at release and though it had 60 amp rated IC's it had 40 amp rated chokes... not a good match up.

Z97 OC FORCE is more economical and has high quality VRM design and offers top notch over clocking mother board at a decent price.
