Gears of War, cant make a gamer profile?

I select F1 to go into gamer profiles, but nothing happens. So, I cant save any of my controls, which effectively stops me from playing. Because the default controls suck.

Anyone else have this issue? Its patched up, but was doing it before the patch too.

F lock, maybe??? I don't know that sucks

Nah, thought of that too. Also, you can click the option to go into profiles in the game, but it wont do it. It also leave an instance of the game running, even after you quit. So to start it back up, you have to end the process. So far.. not impressed with this port.
