the video card is a Ati Radeon 9500 Pro 128
the monitor is a Mag Innovision 986FS 19' Inch Monitor
Current Resolutuion is 1152x864 at 75mhz
OS is windows XP

for some odd reason lately,i'm noticing that my text and icons look fuzzy and out of focus.i've tried everything and it still looks the same.

anyone got other suggestions to fix this?
 
well,looking around my PC parts area i found an old AGP 64mb Visiontek Card.

i think i'm going to uninstall the drivers for the Radeon,take out the card and install this one.

the radeon is prob. the culprit.

its a crt, it happens over time.
 
yeah,i just got done swapping out the cards and it's still the same.

i did want to upgrade the 9500,but at the time of the build couldn't afford it.the local computer store has a Nvidia card for $169,but i want a Ati Card cause of issues with The Geforce Series of Cards{popped about 3 LeadTek GeForce2 GTS Cards}

anyone can guess how long the monitor will last?
 
unknown. mine personally got so bad within 2 weeks it was unreadable. its just 'one of those things' as they say.
 
i've been looking around online and haven't found a good monitor that i would like in either CRT/LCD form.
