For sale or trade is this laser out of a Nicolet FTIR spectrometer, it was used in a Michelson interferometer as the interference reference laser.
It includes a power supply (4mA under-driven) and when powered by this supply puts out 1.2mW. When driven with a 6.5 mA supply it is expected to reach close to its rated capacity.
This is a nice laser with polarized output > 500:1, shutter, and the power supply brick has 10-14V DC input.
Also comes with 2 x-y adjustable spring-loaded tube mounts!
Will sell to the best offer, or trade for a nice PC power supply (500W+, reviewed by HardOCP or Johnnyguru, etc.) Supply must be well reviewed, reatively quiet.
