FSAA Controls broken in ATI 6.9 Cats?

Hey all,


My situation is this, I recently purchased a Radeon X1900XTX, upgrading from a GeForce 7800 GT. The only way I can get FSAA to work in a game is if I set the catalyst control center to use "let the application decide". When I first got my card the 6.9 Cats were the latest out, but since then the 6.9 Cats have come out and the problem remains, manually setting the FSAA value has no effect.

What I have tried is:
- Using Driver Cleaner Pro to remove all traces of NVIDIA and ATi drivers
- Re-installing either the 6.8 or 6.9 Cats


The problem persists. Anyone out there have some helpful advice or insight?

What games? Turn off Cat A.I. to get it likely work.

BF2 and Oblivion are atleast two games in which forcing AA through CCC don´t work. Like the man said, Turning off Cat AI probably solves this.
