Hi guys,

Doing a bit of downsizing (have 4x 3x RTX 4090s at this point, yikes) - I've downgraded a rig to an RTX 4070S and today to an RTX 4080S.

Pet and smoke-free home - everything adult-owned. Heat - https://www.heatware.com/u/124338/to. PayPal F&F, Zelle, Venmo, etc. accepted...also to negotiate something that works for both of us!

MSI GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING TRIO 24G - bought from someone on here. Mint condition complete with box and all accesories. Receipt in PDF form available (02/27/23 purchase) - warranty for 3 years from that date.

MOTHERBOARD

$400 Shipped via UPS Ground - SOLD
ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X670E GENE Motherboard

Just received an RMA fixed X670E GENE from ASUS (new serial # so it is likely brand new - but white box as shown). Switched to a new mobo while I waited. Complete with everything. Haven't even opened up the white box. Purchased the original board (now in ASUS' hands for scrap, I guess, lol) on 10/01/2022. Warranty fully transfers to new serial # due to RMA. Original board had the DIMM_A slot go bad on me.

Monday Bump - Traveling Wednesday/Thursday this week so shipping would be delayed.

Question, what PSU would I need to run a 4090 without problems?
Using a Super Flower 850 Gold.

850 is enough if you decide to undervolt and overclock.

I have a 4090 FE which I undervolt to 1.0v (1.5v is stock) and I overclock it to 2865 mhz. I draw about 300-350 watts max. I'm using a Corsair 860 watt psu. Works well in my 9900k setup.

If you leave the strix at stock voltage and overclock, you are looking at 550-650 watts, which I would say surpasses 850 watts depending on the rest of your system. I would undervolt and overclock this strix to fit my own setup, personally.

Well it depends on the rest of the system as well and if you’re gonna be running both CPU and GPU full tilt simultaneously or a typical gaming workload.

Lots of SFF builds with the SF750 PSU and 4090s with AMD CPUs running without issue. 13900K and up would be pushing it for sure.
