Hi guys,

I got my hands on a BRAND NEW 24 port Baystack 350 managed switch, with a 400-2FX MDA FIbre channel card installed. This thing is a full managed 10/100 switch with gigabit MDA slot and with the fibre card, is great for daisy chaining for large scale lan parties. Alone it's a beast for any weekend get together.

Asking 100 bucks firm for the switch and fibre card. This is a STEAL (no not literally :p )

Also I have 6 Synoptics Model 28115 10/100mbit 16 port managed switches, with rackmounts if you want em. They operate great as regular ol' switches, but have the full management features if you want/need it. These babies have way more personality than any linksys/dlink switch.

Asking 20 dollars each for these puppies. Manual availible here:

Service access is through the RJ45 service port on front, accessed with an rj45->db9 cable with this pinout (its a standard terminal connection so ive read, but here it is in its entirety)

RJ-45f -> Signal DB-9f Signal Notes
1 blue -
2 orange -
3 black rcv 3 xmt
4 red -
5 green gnd 5 gnd
6 yellow xmt 2 rcv
7 brown -
8 white or gray

Note flow control is disabled, so your console software should be set to 9600,8,n,1 and no flow control. You can use hyperterminal or any number of good free utils for this.

You can also use Optivity Campus or Nortel's ethernet management suite if you have a license :)

(Thanks for the clarification guys, all I've done is pop the box to take pictures and look at the cover of the manual)

Thats a 10/100mb switch with 2x gb uplinks

can I see the 16 port switches? I think i might be interested in a couple for lanparties

I miss my 80 port cisco switch :)
